Cuvée Stjepan Ostoja

Stjepan Ostoja Tvrtković Kotromanić (c. 1378, Bobovac – September 1418) was our king. He bore the title King of Bosnia, Serb, Primorje, Humska, West side, Lower areas, Usora, Sol, Polimlje and Podrinje, succeeding Queen Jelena Mara Nikolić, known as Jelena Gruba in May 1398. The descendants of Stjepan Ostoja, also Stjepan and Radivoj Ostojic, we call by him. Although today’s Ostojićs cannot prove the direct line of succession from the famous Bosnian ruler Stjepan Ostoja, today’s geologists are not excluding it. That is why the Ostojic family from Čitluk is proud of naming its wine series with our common ancestors, the medieval Ostojics, and this remarkably balanced cuvée, by the royal king – Stjepan Ostoja.
